Georgia moves up in AP, Coaches polls after win over Georgia Tech
The Georgia Bulldogs, who defeated the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 44-42 in eight overtimes on Saturday, have moved up in the AP and Coaches polls for Week 15.
Georgia (10-2, 6-2 SEC) moved up one spot in the AP Poll to No. 5. Oregon, undefeated at 12-0, again leads the AP Poll with all 61 first-place votes. Rounding out the top five are Texas (2), Penn State (3), and Notre Dame (4).
In the Coaches Poll, the Bulldogs also moved up a spot to No. 5. The Coaches Poll Top 5 matches the AP Poll.
The Georgia Bulldogs are next scheduled to face the Texas Longhorns in the SEC Championship Game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga., on Saturday, Dec. 7. The game will be televised by ABC and streamed via ESPN+ at 4:00pm ET (Buy Tickets).
