The 2025 Georgia Bulldogs football schedule has been officially announced, which features seven contests at Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium.
UGA opens the 2025 season on Saturday, Aug. 30 against the Marshall Thundering Herd at Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Ga. The following week on Sept. 6, Georgia welcomes the Austin Peay Governors to Athens.
The Bulldogs are scheduled to open SEC action in 2025 on Saturday, Sept. 13 on the road against the Tennessee Volunteers. Georgia will then have a bye on Sept. 20 before hosting the Alabama Crimson Tide on Sept. 27.
October begins with a home SEC tilt at Sanford Stadium. The Kentucky Wildcats will visit on Oct. 4, then head to Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn, Ala., to take on the Auburn Tigers on Oct. 11.
Next, Georgia hosts Ole Miss on Oct. 18 before enjoying their second and final bye on Oct. 25.
There are two bye weeks during the 2025 and 2026 seasons due to NCAA bylaws and the calendar. In seasons that contain 14 Saturdays in the period beginning with Labor Day weekend and ending with the last Saturday in November, there are 14 weeks to play 12 games.
The Bulldogs will be the visiting team in 2025 against the Florida Gators at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Fla., and the neutral-site contest is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 1.
Following the trip to Jacksonville, Georgia will travel to take on the Mississippi State Bulldogs in Starkville, Miss., on Nov. 8. The Bulldogs then close out SEC play one week later at home against the Texas Longhorns on Nov. 15.
Georgia’s final two regular-season games are both non-conference contests. The Bulldogs will host the Charlotte 49ers in Athens on Nov. 22 before traveling to Atlanta to face the in-state rival Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on Nov. 29 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The 2025 SEC Championship Game will be played on Saturday, Dec. 6 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, and the contest will be televised by ABC. The matchup will feature the top two teams in the conference standings.
