Dennis Uzochukwu, a three-star offensive tackle from Peachtree Ridge High School in Suwanee, Ga., has committed to Georgia football for the class of 2025.

Uzochukwu announced his commitment to Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs on Thanksgiving day.

Head coach Kirby Smart posted to his X account just after the announcement.

Uzochukwu (6-6, 285) was previously committed to the Georgia State Panthers, but flipped his commitment to the Bulldogs shortly after receiving an offer. He also had offers from schools such as Air Force, Boston College, Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, Minnesota, Ole Miss, and Oregon State.

After a visit to Athens for the Tennessee game, Uzochukwu spoke with UGASports.com.

“[Offensive line coach Stacy Searels] just tells me the truth,” Uzochukwu said. “He’s like, ‘You’re not going to come in, you’re not going start day one, but you’re a developmental guy. You can become better. You can become a person who they’ve never seen anything like you.’

“This is only my third year playing football, actually. So, you know, I’m a very developmental guy, and that’s something that he told me,” he added. “Just the truth, you know, how much that if I come here, I put my butt to work, how much that’s going to reap out.”

In the 247Sports Composite, Dennis Uzochukwu is rated as a three-star recruit, the No. 42 offensive tackle, and the No. 541 overall recruit in the country for 2025.

Rivals.com also rates Dennis Uzochukwu as a three-star recruit, the No. 46 offensive tackle, and the No. 61 recruit from Georgia.

With the addition of Dennis Uzochukwu, Georgia now has 27 commitments for the class of 2025. UGA’s class is now ranked first in the 247Sports Team Rankings.
