Chase Linton commits to UGA football for 2025 class
Chase Linton, a four-star edge defender from North Atlanta High School in Atlanta, Ga., has committed to UGA football for the class of 2025.
Linton announced his commitment to Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs on Wednesday afternoon at a ceremony at his school.

Linton (6-4, 215) committed to the Bulldogs over Georgia Tech and Rutgers, and was also previously committed to Rutgers.
After as visit to Athens in October, Linton spoke with UGASports.com.
“They’re up front, you know, say every place has great facilities, great this, great that. But, you know, we have great people, and they showed that over the weekend,” Linton said. “Like they do have great people over there. And yeah, they have nice facilities, but they’re still like, they’re great people with a championship program.”
In the 247Sports Composite, Chase Linton is rated as a four-star recruit, the No. 11 edge defender, and the No. 132 overall recruit in the country for 2025.
Rivals.com also rates Chase Linton as a four-star recruit, the No. 25 edge defender, and the No. 131 recruit in the country.
With the addition of Chase Linton Georgia now has 26 commitments for the class of 2025. UGA’s class is now ranked second in the 247Sports Team Rankings.
