Bulldogs cruise past Dolphins,102-56
ATHENS, Ga. — The Georgia Bulldogs (7-1) cruised past the Jacksonville Dolphins (4-4),102-56, on Saturday night at the Stegeman Coliseum. Six scorers reached double figures led by graduate guard Dakota Leffew’s 16 points on the night.

• After Leffew’s 16-point effort, sophomore guard Silas Demary Jr. and graduate guard Tyrin Lawrence each followed with 14 points, respectively. Sophomore forward Dylan James and freshman center Somto Cyril tallied 13 points each while freshman forward Asa Newell rounded out double-digit scorers with 12 points on the night.
• Dakota Leffew matched his career-high in assists with eight on the night, last done while playing for Mount St. Mary’s on Dec. 3, 2023 against Siena.
• Somto Cyril recorded a new career-high 13 points against the Dolphins, marking his second double-digit outing in the last four games while Dylan James earned a season-high 13 points, sitting one-point shy of his career high (14).
• Dakota Leffew and Dylan James each recorded season-highs in three-pointers with four made on the night, respectively.
• The Bulldogs scored 102 points on the night, marking the most scored in the Mike White era and the first time scoring over 100 points since Feb. 8, 2020, against Alabama.

“The assist-to-turnover-ratio, the way the ball moved, and the connection offensively was at an all-time high,” head coach Mike White said. “Jacksonville put us in those scenarios with their aggressive pressure. They do a really good job of creating turnovers and I thought for the most part we did a really good job. We grew in that area tonight.”
