“This is a pending legal matter,” Drummond said. “We will have no further comment at this time.”

Below are more details from the incident report, via UGASports.com:

According to the incident report obtained by UGASports, once police arrived at the scene at Young’s apartment off Tallahassee Road, officers met with the alleged victim who reported she was there to meet with the Bulldog wide receiver to “speak with him about their relationship.”

Per the alleged victim, the conversation became “heated” after finding him on the phone with another woman.

According to the victim, Young grabbed her left arm near her bicep/tricep and “physically pulled her out of his room.” The victim said that Young was “using derogatory terms and being demeaning.”

Young would later emerge from his room and per the victim “grabbed her from behind”, and began “squeezing her torso and abdomen very hard.”

Per the report, police noticed a bruise and discoloration on the bottom of her chest. Redness was also noticed on her right flank.

An officer transported her to the hospital for medical attention.

According to the report, Young was “very closed and gave very short answers.” Young denied grabbing the victim.

However, officers found probable cause “based on the totality of the circumstances with physical evidence of injury” and placed Young under arrest.

So far this season, Colbie Young has 11 receptions for 149 yards and two touchdowns. Fifth-ranked Georgia is scheduled to host the Mississippi State Bulldogs this Saturday and the game will be televised by the SEC Network at 4:15pm ET.
