Carson Beck named to Davey O’Brien QB Class of 2024

Georgia football senior quarterback Carson Beck has been named to the Davey O’Brien QB Class of 2024, the Davey O’Brien Foundation announced Tuesday.
Beck is one of 35 quarterbacks named to the Davey O’Brien QB Class of 2024 and he is now an official candidate to win the Davey O’Brien National Quarterback Award for this season.
Carson Beck has led the Georgia Bulldogs to a 6-1 record and 4-1 mark in SEC action so far this season. He has completed 165-of-250 passes for 1,993 yards with 15 touchdowns. Beck has also rushed 27 times for 65 yards.

16 semifinalists for the awards will be chosen based on voting from the Davey O’Brien National Selection Committee as well as bonus ballots awarded from the first round of the Davey O’Brien Fan Vote.
The fan vote will take place on the Davey O’Brien Award social media platforms – Instagram, Twitter (X) and Facebook. The first-round of voting is open now until Friday, Nov. 8 at 11:59pm ET. The 16 semifinalists will be named on Tuesday, Nov. 12, followed by the three finalists on Tuesday, Nov. 26. The winner will be announced live on Thursday, Dec. 12 on The Home Depot College Football Awards on ESPN.
Second-ranked Georgia is next scheduled to face the Florida Gators this weekend at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Fla., and ABC will televise the contest at 3:30pm ET (Buy Tickets).
