Georgia remains second in AP Poll after first bye week
The Georgia Bulldogs, who enjoyed their first bye week of the season, have remained second in the AP Poll for Week 5.
Georgia received 1,482 points in the AP Poll, which is 36 less than it received in the Week 4 poll. The Bulldogs also lost 10 more first-place votes and now have 13.
Texas remains No. 1 in the AP Poll and has 44 first-place votes, while No. 3 Ohio State has the remaining five first-place votes. Alabama and Tennessee round out the top five in the AP Poll.
In the Coaches Poll, the Bulldogs remained on top with 1,350 points and 35 first-place votes, down from the 42 it received last week. The other first-place votes went to Texas (18) and Ohio State (2).
