Georgia drops to second in AP Poll after close win at Kentucky
The Georgia Bulldogs, who defeated the Kentucky Wildcats 13-12 on Saturday in Lexington, have dropped a spot to second in the AP Poll for Week 4.
Georgia received 1,518 points in the AP Poll, which is 48 less than it received in the Week 3 poll. The Bulldogs also lost 31 first-place votes and now have 23.
Texas moved up to No. 1 in the AP Poll and has 35 first-place votes, while No. 3 Ohio State has the remaining five first-place votes. Alabama and Ole Miss round out the top five in the AP Poll.
In the Coaches Poll, the Bulldogs remained on top with 1,358 points and 42 first-place votes, down from the 50 it received last week. The other first-place votes went to Texas (10) and Ohio State (3).

Next week on Saturday, Sept. 21, Georgia will enjoy its first open date of the season. The following week on Saturday, Sept. 28, the Bulldogs travel to face the No. 4 Alabama Crimson Tide at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Ala., and the game will be televised by ABC at 7:30pm ET (Buy Tickets).
