Georgia Bulldogs ranked first in 2024 preseason Coaches Poll
The Georgia Bulldogs are ranked first in the 2024 preseason Coaches Poll Top 25. UGA, which finished 13-1 overall and 8-0 in the SEC in 2023, received 46 first-place votes and a total of 1,364 points.
Five of Georgia’s opponents in 2024 are ranked in the preseason poll. The Texas Longhorns are ranked fourth, Alabama Crimson Tide fifth, Ole Miss Rebels sixth, Clemson Tigers 14th, and Tennessee Volunteers 15th.
Rounding out the top five of the preseason Coaches Poll is Ohio State (2nd), and Oregon (3rd).
The SEC leads all conferences with nine teams in the Top 25 poll. The Big Ten and Big 12 follow with six and five ranked teams, respectively.

The Georgia Bulldogs are set to open the 2024 season against the Clemson Tigers in the Aflac Kickoff Game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga., on Saturday, Aug. 31. The game will be televised live by ABC at noon ET (Buy Tickets).
