Georgia announces complete 2024-25 basketball schedule

The Georgia Bulldogs announced their complete 2024-25 basketball schedule on Friday. The season will be the third under head coach Mike White.

Before the season tips off, Georgia will first play a pair of exhibition contests. The Bulldogs will visit Charlotte on Oct. 19 before hosting UCF on Oct. 29.

Georgia will open the season on Monday, Nov. 4 at home at Stegeman Coliseum in Athens, Ga., against the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles. The Bulldogs will then play a pair of home games as part of the Peach State Classic against Texas Southern on Nov. 10 and North Florida on Nov. 12.

Next up for Georgia is a road trip to Atlanta, Ga., to take on Georgia Tech on Nov. 15, followed by a home tilt against Alabama A&M four days later on Nov. 19.

The Bulldogs then leave the United States to play a pair of games in the Bahamas. Georgia will face Marquette on Nov. 23 and then St. John’s the following day on Nov. 24.

After a six-day break, Georgia will welcome Jacksonville to Stegeman Coliseum on Nov. 30 followed by Notre Dame on Dec. 3 as part of the SEC/ACC Challenge.

Georgia will then travel to Atlanta a second time to face Grand Canyon on Dec. 14 as part of Holiday Hoopsgiving 2024 at State Farm Arena.

UGA’s final three non-conference games are all slated to be played at Stegeman Coliseum. The Bulldogs will host Buffalo on Dec. 19, Charleston Southern on Dec. 22, and South Carolina State on Dec. 29.

Georgia’s SEC schedule includes five Saturday home contests and five Saturday road contests. Midweek games will be played on either a Tuesday or Wednesday, with the exact dates to be announced later.

The Bulldogs open up SEC play on Saturday, Jan. 4 on the road against the Ole Miss Rebels. Other road SEC games for the Bulldogs include Tennessee (Jan. 14/15), Arkansas (Jan. 21/22), Florida (Jan. 25), Alabama (Feb. 1), Texas A&M (Feb. 11/12), Auburn (Feb. 22), Texas (March 1), and South Carolina (March 4/5).

Conference home games for Georgia at Stegeman Coliseum in Athens, Ga., include Kentucky (Jan. 7/8), Oklahoma (Jan. 11), Auburn (Jan. 18), South Carolina (Jan. 28/29), LSU (Feb. 4/5), Mississippi State (Feb. 8), Missouri (Feb. 15), Florida (Feb. 25/26), and Vanderbilt (March 8).
