Shamari Earls, a four-star cornerback from Thomas Dale High School in Chester, Va., has committed to UGA football for the class of 2025.

Earls was previously committed to the South Carolina Gamecocks, but flipped his commitment and announced his intention to sign with Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs.

Earls (6-2, 180) also had offers from several other top schools, including Alabama, Cincinnati, Duke, Kentucky, Louisville, Miami, Michigan, Penn State, Tennessee, and USC.

In the 247Sports Composite, Shamari Earls is rated as a four-star recruit, the No. 11 cornerback, and the No. 105 overall recruit in the country for 2025.

With the addition of Shamari Earls, Georgia now has 18 commitments for the class of 2025. UGA’s class is currently ranked third in the 247Sports Team Rankings.
