Rashad Johnson commits to UGA football for 2025 class
Rashad Johnson, a four-star defensive back from South Sumter High School in Bushnell, Fla., has committed to UGA football for the class of 2025.
Johnson announced his commitment to Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs on Sunday.

Johnson (6-2, 200) committed to the Bulldogs over Penn State, Louisville, and Texas A&M
“Iām putting myself in a good position,” Johnson told UGASports.com after he visited Athens last month. “Iām getting coached by T-Rob (safeties coach Travaris Robinson), heās a safety coach. He has plenty of experience putting plenty of people in the league. Coach Kirby Smart, he did the same thing. He played safety. Itās like Iām getting myself into a defensive head coach, a safety coach.”
In theĀ 247Sports Composite, Rashad Johnson is rated as a four-star recruit, the No. 29 safety, and the No. 323 overall recruit in the country for 2025.
Rivals.com also rates Rashad Johnson as a four-star recruit, the No. 13 athlete, and the No. 43 recruit in the state of Florida.
With the addition of Rashad Johnson Georgia now has 20 commitments for the class of 2025. UGAās class is currently ranked third in the 247Sports Team Rankings.
