Cortez Smith commits to UGA football for 2025 class

Cortez Smith, a four-star offensive lineman from Parkview High School in Lilburn, Ga., has committed to UGA football for the class of 2025.

Smith announced his commitment to Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday.

Smith (6-3, 310) committed to the Bulldogs over Georgia Tech, Miami, and South Carolina.

Following a visit in January, Smith had this to say about Kirby Smart.

“He knows everything about the kids on his team, and he really spends time getting to know the ones he recruits and their families,” Smith told UGASports.com. “He’s one of the greatest coaches I’ve met.”

In the 247Sports Composite, Cortez Smith is rated as a four-star recruit, the No. 6 inside offensive lineman, and the No. 132 overall recruit in the country for 2025.

Rivals.com also rates Cortez Smith as a four-star recruit, the No. 7 offensive guard, and the No. 187 recruit in the country.

With the addition of Cortez Smith Georgia now has 21 commitments for the class of 2025. UGA’s class is currently ranked third in the 247Sports Team Rankings.
