Oregon transfer Collin Gill commits to UGA football

Collin Gill, a former three-star cornerback at Oregon, has committed to UGA football out of the transfer portal.

Gill announced his commitment to Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs on Thursday.

Collin Gill (6-0, 215), who played at St. John’s High School in Washington D.C., redshirted with the Oregon Ducks last season.

Last month, Gill announced he was transferring to play for the Temple Owls before entering the portal again an ultimately signing with the Georgia Bulldogs.

According to UGASports.com, Gill will play safety in Athens.

Georgia is scheduled to open the 2024 season on Saturday, Aug. 31 against the Clemson Tigers in the Aflac Kickoff Game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga. (Buy Tickets).
