Isaiah Gibson (6-4, 245) currently plays for Warner Robins High School. He was previously committed to the USC Trojans, but backed off of that commitment last week. He also holds offers from most of the other top schools, including Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, LSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, and Texas.
Kirby Smart was the first coach to call Gibson after he decommitted from USC.
“Right when I committed (to USC), I want to say coach (Kirby) was the first person to text me. He told me Georgia would be in it until the end, and I respect that, man,” Gibson told UGASports.com. “They weren’t too pushy or on my tail about it. I heard from the whole UGA staff in 30 minutes.”
In the 247Sports Composite, Isaiah Gibson is rated as a four-star recruit, the No. 2 edge rusher, and the No. 36 overall recruit in the country for 2025.
Rivals.com also rates Isaiah Gibson as a four-star recruit, the No. 8 strongside defensive end, and the No. 151 overall recruit in the nation.
With the addition of Isaiah Gibson and four-star offensive lineman Dontrell Glover earlier today, Georgia now has 15 commitments for the class of 2025. UGA’s class is currently ranked fourth in the 247Sports Team Rankings.
