Christian Garrett, a four-star defensive lineman from Bogart, Ga., has committed to UGA football for the class of 2025.
Garrett announced his commitment to Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs on Sunday evening.

Christian Garrett (6-4, 285) currently plays for Prince Avenue Christian School in Bogart. He committed to Georgia over Clemson and Tennessee, while also holding offers from Alabama, Auburn, Duke, Florida, Kentucky, Miami, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Stanford, UCF, USC, and several other top schools.
“I’ve got a great relationship with both of them,” Garrett recently told UGASports.com. “Those are the two coaches who have been recruiting me the hardest since I got offered last year.
“I know everything Georgia has lined up for me. What their plan is for me, and how would I fit in,” Garrett continued. “They want to use me as a combo [defensive] end, so I will probably play first and second down and be used as a 5-tech. I will probably rush the passer as a 3-technique.”
In the 247Sports Composite, Christian Garrett is rated as a four-star recruit, the No. 15 defensive lineman, and the No. 129 overall recruit in the country for 2025.
Rivals.com also rates Christian Garrett as a four-star recruit, the No. 16 defensive lineman, and the No. 232 overall recruit.
With the addition of Christian Garrett, Georgia now has 11 commitments for the class of 2025. UGA’s class is now ranked eighth in the 247Sports Team Rankings.
