Five-star linebacker Zayden Walker commits to UGA football for 2025 class

Zayden Walker, a five-star linebacker from Ellaville, Ga., has committed to UGA football for the class of 2025.

Walker announced his commitment to Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs on Wednesday afternoon.

Zayden Walker (6-2, 225) currently plays for Schley County High School in Ellaville. He committed to Georgia over Miami and South Carolina, while also holding offers from Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Florida State, LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Tennessee, and several other top schools.

In the 247Sports Composite, Zayden Walker is rated as a five-star recruit, the No. 2 linebacker, and the No. 23 overall recruit in the country for 2025.

Rivals.com rates Zayden Walker as a four-star recruit, the No. 2 linebacker, and the No. 32 overall recruit.

With the addition of Zayden Walker, Georgia now has 10 commitments for the class of 2025. UGA’s class was ranked 15th in the 247Sports Team Rankings before Walker’s commitment today, but has now moved up to ninth.

UGA Football Commitments
