Thomas Blackshear (6-1, 197) currently plays for Calvary Day School in Savannah. He committed to Georgia over Florida, Florida State, and Tennessee, plus offers from several other top schools.
In the 247Sports Composite, Thomas Blackshear is rated as a four-star recruit, the No. 46 wide receiver, and the No. 323 overall recruit in the country for 2025.
Rivals.com rates Thomas Blackshear as a three-star recruit, the No. 76 wide receiver, and the No. 53 overall recruit from the state of Georgia.
Following the hiring of wide receivers coach James Coley in February, the Bulldogs targeted Blackshear.
“He makes me feel like a priority,” Blackshear told UGASports.com. “He texts me almost every day, letting me know I’ll be a good person at Georgia. I’ll fit in their offense well. They’re getting to throw the ball a little bit more.”
With the addition of Thomas Blackshear, Georgia now has nine commitments for the class of 2025. UGA’s class is now ranked 12th in the 247Sports Team Rankings.
