Jaden Rashada, a former four-star quarterback at Arizona State, has committed to UGA football out of the transfer portal.

Rashada announced his commitment to Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs on Thursday following a visit to Athens.

Jaden Rashada (6-4, 185) committed to Miami out of high school before flipping to Florida. He later decommitted from Florida after his $13.8 million NIL deal fell through.

In Athens, Rashada will backup starting quarterback Carson Beck and will compete for the second spot along with redshirt sophomore Gunner Stockton and true freshman Ryan Puglisi.

Georgia is scheduled to open the 2024 season on Saturday, Aug. 31 against the Clemson Tigers in the Aflac Kickoff Game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga. (Buy Tickets).
