Amarius Mims, a 6-foot-7, 340-pound offensive lineman for the Georgia Bulldogs, has been selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft (18th overall).

Amarius Mims was part of Georgia’s back-to-back College Football Playoff National Championship winning teams in 2021 and 2022. He is one of the top offensive tackles available this year and was expected by many to be selected in the first round.

Mims played at right tackle in seven games this season for Georgia, starting six times. He was part of an offensive line that ranked first in the SEC and seventh nationally in sacks allowed (0.93). Mims also helped Georgia’s offense finish second in the SEC and fifth in the nation in total offense (496.5), offensive passing efficiency (168.21), and scoring offense (40.1).

A native of Cochran, Ga. (Bleckley County High School), Amarius Mims began his career with the Georgia Bulldogs in 2021. He was rated as five-star prospect out of high school by the 247Sports Composite, Rivals.com, and PrepStar Magazine.

The NFL has not released the 2024 schedule yet, but will likely do that the week of May 6. However, the Bengals’ opponents for the 2024 season have been set and can be viewed at the link below:
