The UGA football SEC opponents for the 2025 season have been set, the conference announced on Wednesday.

The SEC football schedule format for the 2025 season will remain at eight games per team and will feature the same opponents as the 2024 schedule, but with the sites flipped.

“We continue to monitor changes across college sports as they relate to future scheduling,” said SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey. “Continuing with our current format for the 2025 season provides additional time to understand the impact of the changes happening around us as we determine the appropriate long-term plan for SEC football scheduling.”

Georgia’s home SEC opponents in 2025 will be the Alabama Crimson Tide, Kentucky Wildcats, Ole Miss Rebels, and Texas Longhorns. The Bulldogs will travel to face the Auburn Tigers, Mississippi State Bulldogs, and Tennessee Volunteers.

Georgia will also play its annual contest against the Florida Gators at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Fla. That game is tentatively slated for Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025 and the Bulldogs will be designated as the visiting team.

The Bulldogs are scheduled to open the 2025 season against the UCLA Bruins at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif., on Saturday, Aug. 30. Georgia will host the Austin Peay Governors on Sept. 6 and the Charlotte 49ers on Nov. 22 before traveling to Atlanta, Ga., to face the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on Nov. 29.

The complete 2025 UGA football schedule with dates will likely be released in late summer or early fall.
