Two Bulldogs named to 2023 Freshman All-SEC Team

Two Georgia Bulldogs have been named to the 2023 SEC All-Freshman Football Team following a vote by the league’s coaches, it was announced on Thursday.

Receiving the honors for the Bulldogs were offensive lineman Earnest Greene and linebacker Raylen Wilson.

The Florida Gators led the league with four players named to the All-Freshman Football Team. On Wednesday, Alabama defensive back Caleb Downs was named the SEC Freshman of the Year.

The sixth-ranked Georgia Bulldogs (12-1) are set to face the fifth-ranked Florida State Seminoles (13-0) in the Capital One Orange Bowl at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla., on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2023. The game will be televised by ESPN at 4:00pm ET (Buy Tickets).
