The Georgia Bulldogs have dropped to sixth following their loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide, 27-24, in the SEC Championship Game on Saturday in Atlanta, Ga.

Georgia (12-1) dropped from No. 1 to No. 6 as a result of the loss, while Alabama (12-1) moved up from No. 8 to No. 5.

Michigan (13-0) moved up a spot to No. 1 in the AP Poll after its 26-0 victory over the Iowa Hawkeyes in the Big Ten Championship. The Washington Huskies also moved up a spot to No. 2 after defeating the Oregon Ducks in the Pac-12 Championship Friday night.

The Texas Longhorns made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving up four spots to No. 3 after winning the Big 12 Championship over Oklahoma State. The Florida State Seminoles, who defeated the Louisville Cardinals for the ACC Championship, held onto the No. 4 spot.

The top four teams in the latest College Football Playoff Rankings are set to be revealed at 12:15pm ET today on ESPN. Georgia is likely on the outside looking in, but should be placed in a New Year’s Six bowl, possibly the Orange Bowl.
