Five-star safety KJ Bolden flips commitment from FSU to UGA
KJ Bolden, a 2024 five-star safety from Buford, Ga., has flipped his commitment from Florida State to UGA.
Bolden committed to Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs at a ceremony at Buford High School on Wednesday, which is the beginning of the early signing period.

KJ Bolden (6-1, 185) was also targeted by the Auburn Tigers, but chose the Bulldogs over the Tigers and Florida State Seminoles.
In the 247Sports Composite, KJ Bolden is rated as a five-star recruit, the No. 1 safety, and the No. 14 overall recruit in the country for 2024. Rivals.com also rates KJ Bolden as a five-star recruit, the No. 1 safety, and the No. 12 recruit nationally.
With the addition of Bolden, the Georgia Bulldogs now have 28 commitments for the class of 2024, 27 of which have already signed their letters of intent today. UGA’s 2024 class is currently ranked first in the 247Sports Team Rankings ahead of Alabama, Florida State, Ohio State, and Texas.
