The 2024 Georgia Bulldogs football schedule has been officially announced, which features six contests at Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium.

UGA opens the 2024 season on Saturday, Aug. 31 against the Clemson Tigers in the Aflac Kickoff Game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga. The following week on Sept. 7, Georgia will open its home slate at Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Ga., against the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles.

The Bulldogs are scheduled to open SEC action in 2024 on Saturday, Sept. 14 on the road against the Kentucky Wildcats in Lexington, Ky. Georgia will then have a bye on Sept. 21 before traveling to face the Alabama Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa, Ala., on Sept. 28.

October begins with a pair of SEC opponents at Sanford Stadium. The Auburn Tigers will visit Athens on Oct. 5, followed by the Mississippi State Bulldogs on Oct. 12.

Next, Georgia heads west to take on the new-SEC member Texas Longhorns on Oct. 19. Georgia will then enjoy its second and final bye of the season on Oct. 26.

There are two bye weeks during the 2024 and 2025 seasons due to NCAA bylaws and the calendar. In seasons that contain 14 Saturdays in the period beginning with Labor Day weekend and ending with the last Saturday in November, there are 14 weeks to play 12 games.

The Bulldogs will be the home team in 2024 against the Florida Gators at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Fla., and the neutral-site contest is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 2.

Following the trip to Jacksonville, Georgia will travel to take on the Ole Miss Rebels in Oxford, Miss., on Nov. 9. The Bulldogs then close out SEC play one week later at home against the Tennessee Volunteers on Nov. 16.

Georgia’s final two regular-season games are both non-conference contests at Sanford Stadium in Athens. The Bulldogs will host the UMass Minutemen on Nov. 23 and the in-state rival Georgia Tech Tech Yellow Jackets on Nov. 30.

The 2024 SEC Championship Game will be played on Saturday, Dec. 7 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga., and the contest will be televised by ABC. The matchup will feature the top two teams in the conference standings, as the East and West divisions will be eliminated.
