Johnson made an official visit to Athens and witnessed the Bulldogs take down the Ole Miss Rebels, 52-17. Last month, Johnson, told UGASports.com how he would fit in with Georgia.
“They lose three different D-linemen in my position so I can come in as a true freshman and start, or get playing time at least,” Johnson said. “But, you know, wherever I go, I’m planning on making a big impact.”
Nasir Johnson (6-5, 290) currently plays for Dublin High School in Dublin. In the 247Sports Composite, Nasir Johnson is rated as a four-star recruit, the No. 27 defensive lineman, and the No. 208 overall recruit in the country for 2024.
Rivals.com also rates Nasir Johnson as a four-star recruit, the No. 18 defensive lineman, and the No. 47 recruit in the state of Georgia.
With the addition of Johnson, the Georgia Bulldogs now have 28 commitments for the class of 2024. UGA’s 2024 class is currently ranked first in the 247Sports Team Rankings ahead of Ohio State, Florida State, Alabama, and Florida.
