Carson Beck named 2023 Davey O’Brien Award semifinalist
UGA football junior quarterback Carson Beck has been named a semifinalist for the 2023 Davey O’Brien Award, the Davey O’Brien Foundation announced on Tuesday.
Beck is one of 20 quarterbacks named semifinalists for the 2023 Davey O’Brien National Quarterback Award.
Carson Beck has led the Georgia Bulldogs to an undefeated 10-0 record and a 7-0 record in SEC action so far this season. He has completed 267-of-378 passes for 3,508 yards with 24 touchdowns. Beck has also rushed 42 times for 100 yards and three touchdowns.

Three finalists for the award will be chosen based on voting from the Davey O’Brien National Selection Committee as well as bonus ballots awarded from the second round of the Davey O’Brien Fan Vote.
The fan vote will take place on the Davey O’Brien Award social media platforms – Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. The second-round of voting is open now until Friday, Nov. 24 at 1:00pm ET. The three finalists will be tabbed on Tuesday, Nov. 28, while the winner will be announced live on Friday, Dec. 8 on The Home Depot College Football Awards on ESPN.
The Georgia Bulldogs, currently ranked second by the CFP, are next scheduled to play the Tennessee Volunteers at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tenn., on Saturday, Nov. 18. The game will be televised by CBS at 3:30pm ET (Buy Tickets).
