Brock Bowers named 2023 Biletnikoff Award semifinalist
UGA football junior tight end Brock Bowers has been named a semifinalist for the 2023 Biletnikoff Award, according to an announcement from the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation.
This is the second-consecutive season that Brock Bowers has been named a semifinalist for the Biletnikoff Award, which is an annual award given to the nations top collegiate receiver regardless of position.
Bowers is one of 10 players named as a semifinalist for the award. Any player, regardless of position (wide receiver, tight end, slot back, and running back) who catches a pass is eligible for the award.

- Malik Washington (WR), Virginia
Three finalists for the 2023 Biletnikoff Award will be named on Tuesday, Nov. 28. The winner of the 2023 Biletnikoff Award will be announced live on ESPN on The Home Depot College Football Awards Show on Friday, Dec. 8.
In his junior season in Athens, Brock Bowers has caught 51 passes for 661 yards and six touchdowns. Bowers has also rushed six times for 28 yards and one touchdown.
The Bulldogs’ next game is on Saturday, Nov. 25 against the in-state rival Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at Bobby Dodd Stadium in Atlanta, Ga. (Buy Tickets). The game will be televised by ABC at 7:30pm ET.
Georgia is also set to face the Alabama Crimson Tide in the 2023 SEC Championship Game on Saturday, Dec. 2 (Buy Tickets). That contest will kickoff at 4:00pm ET with television coverage via CBS.
