Georgia remains first in AP, Coaches polls after win over South Carolina

The Georgia Bulldogs, who defeated the South Carolina Gamecocks 24-14 on Saturday, have remained first in the AP and Coaches polls for Week 4.

Georgia received 1,566 points in the AP Poll, which is 26 more than they received last week. The Bulldogs received 57 of the 63 first-place votes, with two votes going to No. 2 Michigan, three votes to No. 3 Texas, and one vote to No. 4 Florida State.

In the Coaches Poll, the Bulldogs received 1,598 points, which is 26 points less than last week. Georgia lost two first-place votes and now has 62, with the remaining two votes going to Michigan and Ohio State.

The Bulldogs’ next game is on Saturday, Sept. 23 at home against the UAB Blazers. The game will be televised by ESPN2 at 7:30pm ET (Buy Tickets).
