Chris Cole (6-3, 210) currently plays for Salem High School in Salem. He committed to UGA over Miami, Penn State, Tennessee, and USC, and he also had offers from most of the top schools in the country.
“We talked about Georgia’s program and culture,” Cole told UGASports.com this Spring. “We talked about his vision for me at the inside linebacker position, and how much (Smart) liked my film. Coach Smart sees my ability as limitless.”
In the 247Sports Composite, Chris Cole is rated as a four-star recruit, the No. 6 linebacker, and the No. 56 overall recruit in the country for 2024. Rivals.com also rates Chris Cole as a four-star recruit, the No. 7 outside linebacker, and the No. 112 recruit nationally.
With the addition of Cole, the Georgia Bulldogs now have 27 commitments for the class of 2024. UGA’s 2024 class is currently ranked first in the 247Sports Team Rankings ahead of Ohio State, Florida, Alabama, and Texas A&M.
