Nyier Daniels commits to UGA football for 2024 class

Nyier Daniels, a four-star offensive tackle from Oradell, N.J., has committed to UGA football for the class of 2024.

Daniels committed to Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs on Friday evening. His main recruiter was offensive line coach Stacy Searels, who was aided by defensive backs coach Fran Brown.

UGA football head coach Kirby Smart tweeted his usual reaction after learning of the latest commitment.

Nyier Daniels (6-8, 340) currently plays for Bergen Catholic High School in Oradell. He committed to UGA over Auburn, Cal, Florida, Kentucky, Michigan, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, USC, and Wisconsin, plus several other top schools.

In the 247Sports Composite, Nyier Daniels is rated as a four-star recruit, the No. 11 offensive tackle, and the No. 163 overall recruit in the country for 2024. Rivals.com rates Nyier Daniels as a three-star recruit and the No. 64 offensive tackle recruit in the country.

With the addition of Daniels, the Georgia Bulldogs now have 25 commitments for the class of 2024. UGA’s 2024 class remains ranked first in the 247Sports Team Rankings ahead of Ohio State, Florida, Michigan, and USC.
