13 Georgia Bulldogs have been named to the 2024 East-West Shrine Bowl 1000 list, the Shrine Bowl announced on Monday.

The East-West Shrine Bowl is the nation’s oldest college football all-star game and will take place on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at the Ford Center at the Star in Frisco, Texas, which is the worldwide headquarters and training facility for the Dallas Cowboys. Players selected to the game will be coached by NFL coaches and will have access to NFL-level resources and facilities.

On offense, Georgia football players named to the 2024 East-West Shrine Bowl 1000 list include Arian Smith (WR), Carson Beck (QB), Daijun Edwards (RB), Kendall Milton (RB), Ladd McConkey (WR), Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint (W), Sedrick Van Pran (OC), Tate Ratledge (OG), and Xavier Truss (OG).

UGA football defenders named to the watch list include Nazir Stackhouse (DL), Tykee Smith (CB), Warren Brinson (DL), and Zion Logue (DL).

“The Shrine Bowl 1,000 serves as the first look at who may be at the 2024 East-West Shrine Bowl,” said Eric Galko, Director of Football Operations and Player Personnel for the Shrine Bowl. “Our staff combed through all four levels of college football, evaluating thousands of Shrine Bowl-eligible players, to find the top players in the country. We’re excited to recognize these players for their accomplishments so far, and make sure that fans, media and NFL clubs know that these players are among the best in the nation.”

The Georgia Bulldogs, coming off of back-to-back national championships, are scheduled to open the 2023 season on Saturday, Sept. 2 against the UT Martin Skyhawks at Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Ga. (Buy Tickets).
