The Georgia Bulldogs are expected to play at the Alabama Crimson Tide and at the Texas Longhorns as part of their 2024 SEC football schedule, per a pair of reports on Wednesday.
Georgia will travel to take on the Alabama Crimson Tide at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Ala., in 2024, according to a report by BamaOnline. In their most recent matchup, Georgia defeated Alabama 33-18 in the 2021 College Football Playoff National Championship at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind. However, the Crimson Tide still own the advantage in the overall series, 42-26-4.
Georgia will also travel to take on the Texas Longhorns in 2024, according to a report by Horns247. The two schools last met in the 2019 Allstate Sugar Bowl in New Orleans, La. The Longhorns won that contest, 28-21, and now lead the overall series 4-1.
Texas is joining the SEC in 2024 along with the Oklahoma Sooners. The 2024 SEC football schedule will reportedly be a “bridge” schedule while the conference works on a long-term scheduling format as a 16-team conference.
