Chauncey Bowens, a four-star running back from North Palm Beach, Fla., has committed to UGA football for the class of 2024.

Bowens was previously committed to the rival Florida Gators, but he flipped his commitment to Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs on Saturday.

Chauncey Bowens (5-11, 219) currently plays for The Benjamin School in North Palm Beach. He committed to UGA this weekend in Athens during an official visit.

In the 247Sports Composite, Chauncey Bowens is rated as a four-star recruit, the No. 12 running back, and the No. 202 overall recruit in the country for 2024. Rivals.com also rates Chauncey Bowens as a four-star recruit, the No. 17 running back, and No. 218 overall.

Bowens is the second running back commitment for UGA for the 2024 class, joining Dwight Phillips Jr. of Mableton, Ga. (Pebblebrook).

With the addition of Bowens, the Georgia Bulldogs now have 18 commitments for the class of 2024. UGA’s 2024 class is currently ranked first in the 247Sports Team Rankings ahead of Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and LSU.
