Kickoff time, TV set for Georgia’s first three games of 2023 season

The kickoff time and television coverage has been set for Georgia’s first three games of the 2023 football season following a release from ESPN on Wednesday.

The back-to-back national champion Georgia Bulldogs open the 2023 season on Saturday, Sept. 2 against the UT Martin Skyhawks at home at Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Ga. The game will kickoff at 6:00pm ET and will be streamed live by SEC Network+ and ESPN+.

The following week on Saturday, Sept. 9, the Bulldogs welcome the Ball State Cardinals to Sanford Stadium. That game will be televised by the SEC Network at noon ET.

Georgia opens SEC action on Saturday, Sept. 16 against the South Carolina Gamecocks in Athens. The game will kickoff at 3:30pm ET and will be televised by CBS, which was announced on Tuesday.

The 2023 Georgia-Florida game at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville, Fla., will be played on Saturday, Oct. 28 and is set with its normal time of 3:30pm ET on CBS.

The 2023 SEC Championship Game is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 2 and will be played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga. The game is set for CBS with a 4:00pm ET kickoff.

Georgia’s remaining kickoff times this season will be announced 6-12 days prior to the date of the games.
