Colton Heinrich, a four-star tight end from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., has committed to UGA football for the class of 2024.

“I chose Georgia because it’s exactly what I’m looking for not only from the football side of things but the education is amazing and Athens is one of the best college towns in the country,” Heinrich told UGASports.com. “I also fully believe Coach Hartley is the best tight end coach in the game and he will push me to reach my fullest potential along with one of the best head coaches in the country in Coach Smart.”

Colton Heinrich (6-4, 232) currently plays for Cardinal Gibbons High School in Fort Lauderdale. He committed to UGA over the Alabama Crimson Tide, plus several other top schools.

Rivals.com rates Colton Heinrich as a four-star recruit, the No. 13 tight end in the nation, and the No. 55 overall recruit from the state of Florida.

In the 247Sports Composite, Colton Heinrich is rated as a three-star recruit, the No. 30 tight end, and the No. 629 overall recruit in the country for 2024.

With the addition of Heinrich, the Georgia Bulldogs now have 14 commitments for the class of 2024. UGA’s 2024 class is currently ranked first in the 247Sports Team Rankings ahead of Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame, and LSU.

Last week, Georgia picked up commitments from the top-ranked quarterback in the nation, Dylan Raiola, and the top-ranked punter, Drew Miller.
