Kelee Ringo joins linebacker Nolan Smith and defensive lineman Jalen Carter, who were each selected by the Eagles. All three players will be reunited with UGA’s Jordan Davis and Nakobe Dean, who were drafted by Philadelphia last year.
Ringo played in all 15 games in both the 2021 and 2022 seasons, cementing UGA’s defensive backfield unit that helped lead the Bulldogs to back-to-back College Football Playoff National Championships.
Last season, Ringo started in all 15 games and had 42 total tackles (37 solo), two interceptions, and one forced fumble. Following the season, Ringo was named to the Associated Press and Coaches’ All-SEC Second-Team.
Ringo is a native of Tacoma, Wash., and attended Saguaro High School in Scottsdale, Ariz. He signed with Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs as part of the 2020 recruiting class and was a 247Sports.com composite five-star prospect and was ranked as the No. 4 player nationally.
The NFL has not released the 2023 schedule yet, but will likely do that the week of May 8. However, Philadelphia’s opponents for the 2023 season have been set and can be viewed at the link below:
