Broderick Jones selected by Steelers in first round of 2023 NFL Draft

Broderick Jones, a 6-foot-4, 310-pound offensive lineman for the Georgia Bulldogs, has been selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft (14th overall).

Jones played in all 15 games in both the 2021 and 2022 seasons, anchoring a unit that helped lead the Bulldogs to back-to-back College Football Playoff National Championships.

Following the 2022 season, Jones was named to the Associated Press All-SEC First-Team. In 2021, Jones was named to the Coaches’ Freshman All-SEC Team.

A native of Lithonia, Ga. (Lithonia High School), Broderick Jones signed with Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs as part of the 2020 recruiting class. He was a 247Sports.com composite five-star prospect and was ranked as the No. 11 player nationally.

The NFL has not released the 2023 schedule yet, but will likely do that the week of May 8. However, Pittsburgh’s opponents for the 2023 season have been set and can be viewed at the link below:
