Three Georgia Bulldogs have been named SEC Players of the Week for Week 10 of the 2022 season, the SEC announced on Monday.

Quarterback Stetson Bennett was named Co-Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in Georgia’s 27-13 victory over the Tennessee Volunteers, who were the top-ranked team in the initial College Football Playoff rankings. Bennett completed 17-of-25 passes for 257 yards and two touchdowns and he also scored on a 13-yard run.

Safety Malaki Starks was named the SEC Freshman of the Week following his game-high 10 tackles and a pass breakup in the win over the Vols.

The third and final award of the week went to Jalen Carter as SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week. Carter had four tackles, including two tackles for loss, one sack, and two forced fumbles against Tennessee.

The top-ranked Georgia Bulldogs (9-0) are next scheduled to visit the Mississippi State Bulldogs on Saturday, Nov. 12 at Davis-Wade Stadium in Starkville, Miss. The game will be televised by ESPN at 7:00pm ET.
