Roderick Robinson commits to UGA football for 2023 class
Roderick Robinson II, a four-star running back from San Diego, Calif., has committed to UGA football for the class of 2023.
Robinson committed to Kirby Smart and the national champion Georgia Bulldogs on Tuesday. He was previously committed to the UCLA Bruins, but flipped his commitment to the Bulldogs.

Smart responded with his usual “Go Dawgs” tweet shortly after the commitment.

Roderick Robinson (6-1, 230) currently plays for Lincoln High School. He committed to UGA over offers from most of the top schools, including Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Oregon, Stanford, Tennessee, UCLA, USC, and others.
In the 247Sports Composite, Roderick Robinson is rated as a four-star recruit, the No. 15 running back, and the No. 270 overall recruit in the country for 2023.
Rivals.com also rates Roderick Robinson as a four-star recruit, the No. 7 running back, and the No. 129 overall recruit in the country.
With the addition of Robinson, the Georgia Bulldogs now have 21 commitments for the class of 2023. UGA’s class is currently ranked second in the 247Sports Team Rankings.
Alabama’s 2023 commitment group of 23 is currently ranked first in the country. Notre Dame, Ohio State, Texas, Oklahoma, LSU, Clemson, Tennessee, and Miami round out the top 10.
