Georgia remains atop rankings following bye week

The Georgia Bulldogs, who were off on Saturday, have remained atop the AP Poll and Coaches Poll for Week 9.

Georgia received 1,530 points in the AP Poll, which is the same as they received last week. The Bulldogs received 31 first-place votes compared to 18 for the second-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes, 13 for the third-ranked Tennessee Volunteers, and one for the fifth-ranked Clemson Tigers.

In the Coaches Poll, the Bulldogs received 1,550 points and 43 first-place votes, the same as last week.

The Bulldogs’ next game is against the Florida Gators on Saturday, Oct. 29 at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville, Fla. The game will be televised by CBS at 3:30pm ET.
