Georgia remains top-ranked team in Week 5 AP, Coaches polls

The Georgia Bulldogs, who defeated the Kent State Golden Flashes 39-22 on Saturday, have remained the top-ranked team in the AP and Coaches polls for Week 5.

Georgia received 1,565 points in the AP Poll, which is down four points from the Week 4 poll. The Bulldogs also received 55 first-place votes, four less than they received last week.

In the Coaches Poll, the Bulldogs received 1,563 points and 34 first-place votes, which is down 31 points and six first-place votes from Week 4.

The Bulldogs’ next game is on the road against the Missouri Tigers on Saturday, Oct. 1. The game will be televised by the SEC Network at 7:30pm ET (Buy Tickets).
