The Georgia Bulldogs, who crushed the No. 11 Oregon Ducks 49-3 on Saturday, have moved up to 2nd in both the AP Poll and Coaches Poll for Week 2.

Georgia received 1,511 points in the AP Poll, which is up 56 points from the preseason poll. The Bulldogs also received 17 first-place votes, which is 14 more than they received before the season started.

In the Coaches Poll, UGA received the exact same points (1,542) and first-place votes (6), but still moved up a spot ahead of Ohio State.

The Bulldogs’ next game is at home at Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium against the Samford Bulldogs on Saturday, Sept. 10. The game will be televised by the SEC Network at 4:00pm ET.

Samford is currently 1-0 following their season-opening 27-17 win at home over the Kennesaw State Owls on Thursday, Sept. 1.
