Bulldog National Championship celebration at capacity

ATHENS, Ga. – Sanford Stadium will be at capacity for the University of Georgia national championship celebration on Saturday afternoon.

At this time, there will be no additional tickets made available. Normal game day parking and traffic flow procedures will be in place.

Following the 12:30 p.m. parade down Lumpkin Street, there will be an event celebrating the Bulldogs’ 33-18 victory over Alabama to clinch the College Football Playoff National Championship on Dooley Field at Stanford Stadium beginning at 2 p.m.

Attendance figures are expected to be available following the event.

Fans who are not able to make it into the stadium can view or listen to the celebration in a variety of ways:

TV: WSB-TV in Atlanta will have exclusive live programming all day, starting with ‘Bulldogs Game Day’ and leading up through the parade and ceremony. WSB-TV’s streaming platform will be the best place to watch the parade portion of the celebration.
