Georgia remains atop the AP and Coaches polls for eighth consecutive week

The Georgia Bulldogs, who defeated the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 45-0 on Saturday, have remained atop the AP and Coaches polls for the eighth consecutive week.

Georgia again received every first-place vote in the AP Poll and USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll. Michigan (11-1) is now ranked second following their 42-27 win over then second-ranked Ohio State. Cincinnati (12-0) and Alabama (11-1) are now ranked third and fourth, respectively, in the AP Poll.

The Bulldogs’ next game is against the Alabama Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship Game on Saturday, Dec. 4 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga. The game will be televised by CBS at 4:00pm ET.
