Georgia’s 2021-22 SEC basketball tip times, TV announced

The Georgia Bulldogs’ 2021-22 SEC basketball tip times and TV networks have been set, the conference has officially announced.

Georgia will begin SEC play against the Texas A&M Aggies on Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022 at Stegeman Coliseum in Athens, Ga. The game will be televised by ESPNU at 7:00pm ET.

Other conference home games for Georgia include Vanderbilt (Jan. 15; TBD, ESPNU), Alabama (Jan. 25; 6:30pm, SECN), Arkansas (Feb. 2; 7pm, ESPN2/U), Auburn (Feb. 5; 1pm, SECN), South Carolina (Feb. 12; 1pm, SECN), Ole Miss (Feb. 19; 1pm, SECN), Florida (Feb. 26; Noon or 4pm, ESPN/2), and Tennessee (March 1; 6:30pm, SECN).

Road SEC games for the Bulldogs include Kentucky (Jan. 8; 6pm, SECN), Mississippi State (Jan. 12; 7pm, SECN), Auburn (Jan. 19; 9pm, ESPNU), South Carolina (Jan. 22; 3:30pm, SECN), Vanderbilt (Jan. 29; 6pm, SECN), Florida (Feb. 9; 6:30pm, SECN), LSU (Feb. 16; 7pm, SECN), Texas A&M (Feb. 22; 7pm, ESPNU), and Missouri (March 5; 3:30pm, SECN).

The Georgia Bulldogs are scheduled to open the 2021-22 season on Tuesday, Nov. 9 against the FIU Panthers at Stegeman Coliseum.

Other non-conference opponents scheduled to visit Stegeman Coliseum this season include South Carolina State (Nov. 16), Georgia Tech (Nov. 19), Wofford (Nov. 28), Memphis (Dec. 1), Jacksonville (Dec. 7), George Mason (Dec. 18), Western Carolina (Dec. 20), ETSU (Dec. 22), and Gardner-Webb (Dec. 29).

The Bulldogs will travel to face the Cincinnati Bearcats on Saturday, Nov. 13, which will be their only true road game in non-conference play.

Tip times and television for those non-conference games will be announced at a later date.

Georgia is also scheduled to compete in the 2021 Legends Classic at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., on Monday, Nov. 22 and Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2021. Georgia will face Virginia in the first round, followed by either Providence or Northwestern in the championship or consolation game.
