Georgia moves up to 2nd in AP Poll and Coaches Poll for Week 2

The Georgia Bulldogs, who defeated the No. 3 Clemson Tigers 10-3 on Saturday, have moved up to 2nd in both the AP Poll and Coaches Poll for Week 2.

Georgia received 1,507 points in the AP Poll, which is up 240 points from the preseason poll. In the Coaches Poll, UGA received 1,537 points, up 210 points.

The Bulldogs’ next game is at home at Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium against the UAB Blazers on Saturday, Sept. 11. The game will be televised by ESPN2 at 3:30pm ET.

UAB is currently 1-0 following their season-opening 31-0 win over the Jacksonville State Gamecocks on Wednesday, Sept. 1.
