Nyland Green, a four-star cornerback from Covington, Ga., has committed to the Georgia Bulldogs for the class of 2021.
Green announced his commitment to Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs via his Twitter account on Tuesday.

Nyland Green (6-2, 183) plays for Newton High School. He committed to the Bulldogs over offers from most of the top schools, including Alabama, Arizona State, Arkansas, Auburn, Clemson, Duke, Florida State, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Oregon, Penn State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, USC, and others.
In the 247Sports Composite, Nyland Green is rated as a four-star recruit, the No. 5 cornerback, and the No. 69 overall recruit for the 2021 class.
Green is also rated as a four-star recruit by Rivals.com, the No. 9 cornerback, and the No. 127 overall recruit in 2021.
With the addition of Nyland Green, the Georgia Bulldogs now have 20 commitments for the class of 2021. UGA’s class is now ranked 3rd in the 247Sports Team Rankings, just behind No. 1 Alabama and No. 2 Ohio State.
