5-star offensive tackle Amarius Mims commits to UGA for 2021
Amarius Mims, a five-star offensive tackle from Cochran, Ga., has committed to the Georgia Bulldogs for the class of 2021.
Mims announced his commitment to UGA live on Wednesday on CBS Sports HQ.

Amarius Mims (6-7, 315) currently plays for Bleckley County High School. He committed to the Bulldogs over offers from most of the top schools, including Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, LSU, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon, Penn State, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas A&M.
In the 247Sports Composite, Amarius Mims is rated as a five-star recruit, the No. 2 offensive tackle, and the No. 6 overall recruit for the 2021 class.
Mims is also rated as a five-star recruit by Rivals.com, the No. 1 offensive tackle, and the No. 2 overall recruit in 2021.
With the addition of Amarius Mims, the Georgia Bulldogs now have 16 commitments for the class of 2021. UGA’s class is now ranked No. 7 in the 247Sports Team Rankings.
